The Litigation Section represents the various City Departments in issues including, but not limited to tort, personal injury, real estate, contract and employment matters.
The City Attorney’s Office does not represent individuals or organizations. As a result, the City Attorney’s office does not provide legal advice to the public.
All misdemeanor criminal matters that occur within the City limits, including traffic tickets, are handled by the City Prosecutor’s Office. All felony criminal matters that occur within the City limits are handled by the Yuma County Attorney's office.
