In 2007, the Arizona State Legislature considered 1,434 bills, many of which could affect the City of Yuma. Bills and Amendments that may impact City operations are monitored daily while the Legislature is in session. The City Attorney’s office assists City departments in reviewing and monitoring key legislation.
Key issues for the City include revenue, public safety and emergency services, transportation and other critical City services and authority.
