Public Safety
- Complete Blackberry implementation for use by Yuma County Emergency Management and other Yuma County first responder agencies.
- Work with Yuma County Public Safety agencies in the selection, review and negotiations of new Yuma County Regional Public Safety system.
- Work with City, State, and Yuma County agencies to coordinate and complete roll-out of Phase II, E911 wireless services.
- Continue to expand the use and operation of the Yuma Regional Communication System.
- Complete roll out of Document Management for Yuma Fire Department.
- Work with Yuma Police Department to modify departments 3-5 Year Information Technology Strategic Plan.
Community Development
- Complete roll out of Document Management for Community Development.
- Begin implementation of Community Developments new computer software system and data migration.
Finance Department
- Work with Finance to implement next generation financial software.
- Work with Finance on the transition to monthly Utility billing and collection cycle.
Utilities Department
- Work with Utilities on the transition to monthly Utility billing and collection cycle.
- Work with Utilities to correct and transition CADD developed water atlas to enterprise GIS system.
Citywide/ITS Services
- Work with all departments to determine if decentralized systems can be centralized to decrease support and maintenance costs.
- Work with Yuma County ITS and Development Services to research possibility of moving to Countywide GIS system.
- Continue to manage and implement elements of city’s Enterprise GIS system.
- Continue to manage and safeguard the integrity of city automated business systems and network infrastructures.
- Continue to provide technical guidance and support for department specific and citywide technologies.
- Continue to work with city staff to advance computer literacy and use of software systems.
