The Records Bureau serves as the central repository for all police reports and related records. The Records Section produces a monthly statistical report which is sent to the FBI for tracking crime. It is also responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of records, archiving and dissemination of all police reports and related records. They also assist in subpoenas, research, background information and miscellaneous statistical information.
