Welcome to the City of Yuma

I want to welcome you to the City of Yuma and our website. Whether you are on the web to find out information about our City, moving to Yuma or just to visit, looking for a job to join our team or relocate your business to our great City we would like to do what we can to help.

I first came to Yuma to work in 1980 and after finding my wife we moved back here with my family in 1986.  We found it a great place to raise our children as Yuma has kept the friendliness of small town but having the amenities of a big city. We have fantastic recreation and sports programs, parks, fishing and boating, off-roading in the desert or the sand dunes giving your family a long list of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. We have nearly 365 days of sunshine every year making Yuma a great place to raise your family or escape the cold for a winter visit.

Greg Wilkinson, City AdministratorWorking with a very active local Yuma Chamber of Commerce we are a business friendly community lowering fees and providing incentives to new commercial businesses relocating to Yuma.  Local businesses are our partners and we look for ways to assist them where ever we can. In Yuma we pitch in to help each other but probably of all the things we offer our people and workforce is our best asset.

If you are looking for a great place to relocate your business to and be able to serve several large metropolitan areas, lower your taxes and employee costs with new incentive packages and want to be in a City with a 'can-do' attitude…give me a call.
