The Community Planning Division meets with customers, handles requests for rezoning and subdivisions, and addresses needed changes to the zoning or subdivision codes. Long Range Planning staff prepares updates to the General Plan, new or revised policies to guide the City's growth. Staff reviews and processes over 200 land use applications annually and meets with customers in over 400 pre-development meetings. The planners provide staff support to the Planning & Zoning Commission, the Hearing Officer and the Design Review Committee.

Bicycle Facilities Master Plan

Cover of the Bicycle Facilities Master PlanThe Bicycle Facilities Master Plan is a progressive guide for the future placement of Bike Lanes, Bike Paths, and Bike Routes throughout the City. The plan directs City departments how and when to implement each segment of the plan through the Capital Improvement Program. The Bicycle Facility Plan is updated approximately every 10 years as demographics change.

Historic North End Corridor Plan: A Main Street Renewal Project
